Flat-pack furniture fails for predictable reasons: cam locks over-tightened until the particleboard crumbles, backs nailed on before the frame is square, and tall units left free-standing on a carpeted floor. We build every piece on a protected surface, square the carcass by measuring corner to corner before the back panel goes on, and snug cam fittings by hand rather than with an impact driver.
Anti-tip anchoring is not optional on dressers, bookcases and wardrobes, especially with toddlers in the house. The strap supplied in the box is fine, but the plug that comes with it is not meant for every wall. We locate a stud or use a rated anchor for plaster or concrete, and we set the strap so the unit sits tight to the wall without pulling it off level. Baseboards often push a tall unit forward at the top; we shim or notch so it stands plumb.
Cribs and nursery furniture are built strictly to the manufacturer's sequence, with every bolt checked and the mattress-support height set where you want it. Beds with slat systems and lift-up storage get their gas struts and centre legs adjusted so the frame does not squeak or sag.
Send us the model or article numbers when you book. It lets us estimate how many pieces fit into the hour and bring the right bits.
