Need something fixed today? BuildMan books same-day and next-day handyman appointments across Toronto and the GTA — flat-rate, builder-trained, and confirmed within 60 minutes during business hours.
BuildMan offers same-day and next-day handyman appointments across Toronto and the GTA most weekdays, with your booking confirmed within 60 minutes during business hours (Mon–Sat, 8 AM–6 PM). Same-day visits cost the same flat rate: $150 for the first hour, $280 for two or $410 for three, with no trip charge. We are not an after-hours emergency service. Call (905) 660-9992 to book.
A leaking faucet, a TV to mount before guests arrive, a door that won't lock — some jobs can't wait. Call before noon on most weekdays and we'll aim to have a technician at your door the same day.

"Same-day" shouldn't mean sloppy. BuildMan keeps our technicians' vans stocked with common parts, anchors and tools so we can respond fast and finish the job properly on the first visit. You get the urgency you need without paying an emergency premium — same-day work is billed at the same flat $150 / $280 / $410 rates as any booking.
Call (905) 660-9992 or request a quote online and we'll confirm a same-day or next-day window within the hour during business hours. If we can't reach you today, we'll say so and book the earliest slot that works.
No trip charge, no hidden minimums. Most jobs wrap up the same visit. Materials billed at supplier cost.
After 3 hours: $85/hr. Hours doubled if a second technician is needed.
Same-day service works when the job is well defined and the parts are on hand. When you call or book, the more detail you give, the faster we can slot you in: what is broken, a photo or two, the make or model if it is a fixture or appliance, and whether you already bought the replacement part. That tells us whether the job fits a one-hour block or needs two, and what to load in the van.
Some jobs are better booked as the next appointment rather than squeezed in. Drywall patches need drying time between coats, so a same-day visit gets the patch and first coat on, and the finish happens on a return trip. Anything that turns out to need a licensed trade — a new circuit, gas work, or moving a drain line — is coordinated with the right licensed professional rather than improvised on the spot.
We work Monday to Saturday, 8 AM to 6 PM, and we are not an after-hours emergency line. If water is actively leaking at night, close the fixture's shut-off valve or the main water valve (usually where the water line enters the basement, near the meter) and turn off power to any wet electrical. Then book us first thing for the repair. Knowing where your main shut-off is before you need it is one of the most useful things a Toronto homeowner can do.
Pricing does not change because the visit is today. Labour is billed in the same flat blocks, materials are charged at supplier cost with the receipt, and HST is extra. We move fast for urgent jobs like leaks and lockouts, but we're a flat-rate handyman service, not a 24/7 emergency trade. For same-day help during business hours, call (905) 660-9992.
